14oz vs. the costume rack
Most “ninja costumes” are thin 8oz polyester that tears the first time you move like a ninja. Kage uniforms are woven from 14oz cotton — nearly double the weight — cut for full range of motion and stitched to survive years of training, conventions, and Halloweens.
“I’m very impressed with this uniform. I picked it up on a whim for an early Halloween costume idea not quite sure if I’d return it or not. But after trying it on, I’m going Ninja all the way this year! Material seems good and the fit is accurate to the size chart. The free ‘chucks’ are an awesome touch!”

“This uniform is absolute quality and fits very well. I highly recommend it. Easily the best uniform I have ever had.”

“I just received my uniform today and as I am so pleased with the obvious quality and value I am placing a order for a second uniform today. It is so nice to find a source for a uniform that takes the art seriously. I do not feel like I am buying a costume, but rather a fine piece of training equipment.”

“I started Kage in 2009 because every ‘ninja uniform’ I could find was a costume — thin, shapeless, and embarrassing to train in. So we made our own. Seventeen years later we still make one uniform, in one weight, in limited runs, and I still stand behind every single one.”
